We are committed to supporting local agriculture and anchor our production to locally sourced, pasture raised whole animals. We also source primal from out of state all natural producers to fill gaps in production needs. No meat entering our shop has ever been mistreated, fed animal by products or treated with antibiotics or hormones.

Started in 2018 by Oliver and Kelly Perkins, A Smallgood is a family run salumeria located in mid-coast Maine. Using wild fermentation, native ingredients and koji we make products that couldn’t be made anywhere else. We pride ourselves on re-imagining traditional techniques crafting old world cured meats with new world creativity.
